Abstract: Cybersecurity is no longer just a technology problem; it has become a business differentiator. As the topic is discussed around corporate boardrooms and government task forces, the face of Cybersecurity professionals is changing as well. Ms. Whittemore will share her experiences and observations she’s made throughout her career of the different facets of that new face, highlighting how non-traditional skills now apply in the area of Cybersecurity.
Speaker Bio
Susan Whittemore is Vice President of Technology Risk Management for Fidelity Investments’ Enterprise Cybersecurity group. Susan has worked for Fidelity for nine years in a variety of cybersecurity leadership roles. She has 22 years of experience in risk and cybersecurity and currently leads a consulting team responsible for ensuring appropriate cyber controls are built into new technologies. Susan’s leadership skills and experience in both financial services and retail environments have helped firms reduce risk and comply with industry and regulatory programs through comprehensive programs. Susan earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from Worcester State College.
