ICYMI, @ncstateengr and @red_hat have partnered on a new community project to advance artificial intelligence systems and safety.

AI governance policies are often complex and disparate. Teams creating and deploying AI systems need to meet both corporate and governmental regulations. Led by Red Hat, asago (AI Safety And Governance Orchestration), aims to create an automated, traceable workflow that translates these — sometimes abstract — policy guidelines into safer, production-ready AI systems.

A particular focus of the college is the safe and responsible deployment of AI systems. By working with government, regulators, businesses and more, #AI can be shaped into a tool that benefits and aids people, both close to home in North Carolina and across the world.
