Recruitment Events & Engagement Opportunities

The Department of Computer Science offers a number of student engagement opportunities throughout the school year, many exclusively for our ePartners.

We are always coming out with new and exciting options for recruiting activities. With over 1,800 CSC students expected this coming year, you may wish to take part in these events as part of your recruiting strategy.

ePartner Events & Engagement Activities

ePartners Career Connection Event

September 16, 2019: 12pm – 4pm: Talley Student Union
Each participating company will be provided one 6 ft table. Plan to arrive no later than 11:30 for set-up. Registration via ePack

Grad School Sessions

September 27 – December 6, 2019: 180-200 students. Every Friday, 12:50 – 1:40pm.
You can make any presentation you like to a captive audience of 180-200 grad students, on any topic you'd like, in person or via Skype or other video feed. Super ePartners have priority through July 31. Contact Ken Tate to reserve a slot.

Panel Discussions & Mock Interviews

These will be scheduled prior to the fall career fairs. Contact Leslie Rand-Pickett at to coordinate.

Info Sessions

These are designed to give students a better perspective about your company and their career opportunities. ePartners & Super ePartners can book directly through us.
Tuesday and Thursday evenings: 6 – 8pm in EB2 1231 (capacity 160) or Seminar Room 3211 (capacity ~50). Choose your preferred date(s) and time.

"Tech Talks"

Complete this online form to request to participate. These talks are coordinated through (and provided by) our ACM/AITP student organization, and they will evaluate all requests and issue invitations to the talks of most interest to their members. Sponsorship is complimentary for ePartners & Super ePartners, but requires a substantial donation for all other companies.

Technology Workshops

Friday afternoons. Complete this Google Form to participate, and our ACM/AITP organization will work with you to coordinate. Workshops should take ~3 hours and include lunch. Sponsorship of workshops are complimentary for ePartners & Super ePartners.

Other Unique Recruiting Events

More and more of our partners are looking beyond Info Sessions to identify new and exciting ways to engage students. Some of the creative and successful events have included "Lunch on Us", "Coffee & Bagels", "Cupcakes on Us", and "Doughnut Exam Break" events! These usually involve a table in our atrium or in the EB2 breezeway staffed with your recruiters.

Graduate Career Services Director & Suite

Leslie Rand-Pickett is our Director of Graduate Career Services. The CSC Career Services Suite recently opened in EB2 on Centennial Campus and contains two high-tech interview rooms. ePartners have priority. Contact Leslie at to schedule use of the interview room.

Student Email & Social Media Blasts

Weekly email blasts are sent to all CSC students listing details about all ePartner & Super ePartner events and activities on a rolling two week view. Social media blasts serve as "day of" reminders.

Profile Page

A benefit available to all Super ePartners is a 'profile page' on our ePartners Web Site – a special dedicated page that sits between our site and yours detailing your company’s partnership, recruiting interests, and special content, messages, and links. More info can be found here.

ePack Job Posting & Resume Database

All ePartner postings on our jobs board are color-coded and placed at the top of the page by default. ( See current listings.) The board regularly features 500+ job postings. ePartners may request a customized Resume Book with CSC students who meet your specifed selection criteria. Request access to your customized book through Leslie Rand-Pickett ( For anyone who might not have an ePack account, contact Leslie or contact our CDC prime, Cara Doyle ( directly and she will ensure that you are set-up properly.

Fall 2019 Engineering Career Fair

September 17 & 18: 9:30am – 4:00pm: McKimmon Center This is one of the largest career fairs in the country held specifically for engineering students, drawing hundreds of companies and thousands of students. Registration will be capped and fills quickly. Visit the event site to register.

ECE Casual Connections Recruiting Event

TBD, 2019: 4:00pm – 8:00pm: Talley Student Union
Supported by the ECE Student Ambassadors and hosted by the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, this event allows companies to connect with ECE students in a less formal setting for networking and recruiting. Spring 2019 Engineering Career Fair

February 5, 2019: 9:30am – 4:00pm: McKimmon Center
This is the spring version of the event above. Only one day, but equally high in demand for employers and students. Visit the event site to register.
