Graduate Program - Application Deadlines
Application deadlines for the Computer Science department’s graduate programs are as follows:
- U.S. citizen and Permanent U.S. residents
- PhD, Fall admission: December 15
- Masters, Fall admission: May 1
- Masters, Spring admission: October 15
- Certificates: No fixed deadlines
- Foreign nationals
- PhD and Masters, Fall admission only: December 15
Fall admission masters applicants - Rapid Response Promise
Masters applicants can take advantage of an incentive for early fall submission. Submit your fee-paid application for the next fall term by October 1 and you'll receive a decision within 21 days of the application's complete date (not submission date).
Pay close attention to the EDUCATION HISTORY section of our Application Procedure page, uploading transcripts that satisfy the described specifications. Then submit and pay the fee. We'll notify you when the application is complete and ready for admissions review. You'll have an admission decision within three weeks.
Notes:
- Spring admission is only for U.S. citizens and permanent residents.
- Pay close attention to any pre-submission warning emails from our program.
- Applicants who have previously been denied admission are discouraged from reapplying.
