Four Alumni Inducted into the CSC Alumni Hall of Fame

2022 CSC Alumni Hall of Fame InducteesThe NC State Computer Science Alumni Hall of Fame officially inducted four new members during a special ceremony held at the Park Alumni Center on the evening of Thursday, November 10th. More than 60 faculty, staff, award winners, their families and special guests were in attendance. Wyatt Named Distinguished Engineering Alumnus

Computer Science alumnus Mark D. Wyatt (CSC BS 1980) was among three recently recognized by the NC State University College of Engineering as a Distinguished Engineering Alumnus (DEA), becoming the department's 5th ever DEA Award winner! Among his many professional achievements, he played a key role in developing and implementing Duke Energy's grid modernization. Read More »


Ten New Members Named to Strategic Advisory Board

Fall Diploma Ceremony Set for December 16th

Dr. Thomas PricePlease join us as we recognize and celebrate our graduates during the NC State Computer Science Department’s Fall Diploma Ceremony on Friday, December 16th at 3:00 p.m. The ceremony will be held in William Neal Reynolds Coliseum on the campus of NC State University, located at 2411 Dunn Avenue, Raleigh. Lance Berberian, Executive Vice President and Chief Information and Technology Officer of Labcorp, will deliver the keynote address. Read More »


Select Departmental Gifts & Support

Cisco has donated $25,000 to the department in support of the ePartners Program and the Sr Design Center.

BCBS of NC has donated $12,500 to the department in support of the ePartners Program and the Sr Design Center.

Dr. Donald Bitzer has donated $8,000 to support the Bitzer Creativity Award Endowment and the Bitzer Undergraduate Research Endowment.


CSC Wolf Bytes

Please join us in welcoming Ouafae Haddouchi to the CSC staff, as our new IT Web Developer. She joins us on December 5th and she will be responsible for our department website, design, content management, and web development/maintenance of various internal Web applications. Ouafae has an Associate Engineering degree from Wake Tech and has completed NCSU Computer Science Department coursework. She has interned as a software engineer & applications developer at Microsoft, IBM, and the NC Wildlife Resources Commission.

Making the Pitch! Students in Dr. Timothy Menzies’ Software Engineering class are challenged to not just create innovative software solutions to real-world problems, but to sell their ideas to the classmates in a novel ‘software swap’ approach. Read More »

Personalized Job Search Agent in ePack

If you are a CSC student or recent graduate (within 12 months post-graduation) and would like to receive email notifications when new jobs are posted on ePack matching your profile, you can set up your own customized job search agent to receive just the postings you desire (intern vs. full time, etc). For a short video tutorial on how to create your own personalized job agent, click here.

The Alumni Association has partnered with the University Career Development Center to make ePACK available to NC State alumni. If you are a current Alumni Association member, update your online profile by visiting the Wolfpack Connect (alumni directory) and click on the ‘Update My Info’ tab on the upper right side of the page. Select the ‘Career Connections’ tab and then choose ‘yes’ beside the question, ‘Do you want access to ePACK?’

To access ePACK you must be a member of the Alumni Association and you must be an alumnus/alumnae of NC State. If you are not a member of the Alumni Association, you can join online. Once you have received an email confirming your membership, you will be able to register for access to ePACK.
