Abstract:

The NCSU Data Science Academy is pleased to welcome guest speaker Priya Donti. She is co-founder and chair of Climate Change AI, an initiative to catalyze impactful work in climate change and machine learning, a Ph.D. student in Computer Science and Public Policy at Carnegie Mellon University, and a U.S. Department of Energy Computational Science Graduate Fellow. Note to CSC and Statistics graduate students: these lectures have been approved to count toward the required seminars for graduate students. Short Bio:

Priya Donti is a Ph.D. student in the Computer Science Department and the Department of Engineering & Public Policy at Carnegie Mellon University.
