Abstract: As analytics, machine learning and AI become more popular, technology companies are adopting AI/ML to offer unique value to their customers. Prasanth Anbalagan, Principal Engineer at the AI Center of Excellence in Red Hat, will talk about how Red Hat approaches AI/Machine Learning with open source methodology. The talk will also highlight projects worked on by the team, different roles like data scientists and data engineers involved in the projects, and how students can prepare toward such roles.
Short Bio: Prasanth Anbalagan is a Principal Engineer in the Artificial Intelligence Center of Excellence Team at Red Hat. Prasanth earned his M.S and Ph.D in Computer Science from North Carolina State University focusing on Automated Software Engineering and Software Reliability Engineering. As a member of the AI team at Red Hat, Prasanth focuses on the development of services and tools to analyze, manipulate, and visualize data and execute automated operations as part of an Analytics, Machine Learning and AI platform.
