Abstract: Joseph Henriquez from Vanguard will be coming in to give a talk with 2 parts: the first will be on Java and best practices for software testing, with some points on programming academically vs. programming in the real world; the second part will be all about Hadoop, a software framework for processing big-data. Short Bio: Joseph Henriquez is a member of our TLP (Technology Leadership Program) cadre within the Vanguard Information Technology and Security segment and David Pesa is a Java Developer II within the same division. They are both located in the Charlotte, NC office.
