"A Fresh Look at Trust and Reputation Systems"

Abstract: This talk will review recent insights gleaned from studying existing trust and reputation systems from the standpoint of dynamical systems. It will introduce a set of dimensions and desiderata by which to classify and evaluate trust and reputation systems.
Short Bio: Chris Hazard is PhD student in computer science. His research involves the study of trust and reputation in computational settings but guided by ideas from economics. Chris won the Best Student Paper Award at the 2007 International Conference on Electronic Commerce.
