Congratulations Fall 2022 CSC Graduates!

The department proudly congratulates the more than 300 graduates who were honored during the Department’s Fall 2022 Diploma Ceremony on December 16th in Reynolds Coliseum. The ceremony was the largest fall event in the department's 55-year history. Hundreds of friends and family members gathered to celebrate the graduating class which included 21 Ph.D., 186 M.S., and 104 B.S. degree recipients. Read More »

Select Departmental Gifts & Support

Mrs. Ling Tai has donated $3,000 to the Dr. KC Tai Memorial Endowment fund.

Cisco has made a $172,714 sponsored research award to Dr. Kemafor Ogan to fund her project “Improving the Robustness, Performance and Usability of Blockchains With Declarative Transactions”.

Meta has awarded a $50,000 unrestricted faculty award to Dr. Tim Menzies to support his research and teaching efforts associated with the RAISE lab.

JupiterOne has donated $5,000 to the department in support of the ePartners Program.

Kadro has donated $2,575 to the department in support of the ePartners Program.

Red Storm has donated $2,500 to the department in support of the ePartners Program.

Human Support Technology has donated $5,000 to the department as unrestricted support of the research efforts of Dr. Noboru Matsuda.

Goodnight Doctoral Fellowship Launches a New Phase of Graduate Student Support - With the partnership of Dr. Jim and Mrs. Ann Goodnight and the Goodnight Educational Foundation, NC State University has announced the creation of the Goodnight Doctoral Fellowship. The inaugural cohort includes 30 Ph.D. students from seven colleges whose work focuses on STEM or education. Among the inaugural cohort is Jeremy Park, a former Goodnight Scholar, who is now pursuing a doctoral degree in computer science. Read More »

Personalized Job Search Agent in ePack

If you are a CSC student or recent graduate (within 12 months post-graduation) and would like to receive email notifications when new jobs are posted on ePack matching your profile, you can set up your own customized job search agent to receive just the postings you desire (intern vs. full time, etc). For a short video tutorial on how to create your own personalized job agent, click here.

The Alumni Association has partnered with the University Career Development Center to make ePACK available to NC State alumni. If you are a current Alumni Association member, update your online profile by visiting the Wolfpack Connect (alumni directory) and click on the ‘Update My Info’ tab on the upper right side of the page. Select the ‘Career Connections’ tab and then choose ‘yes’ beside the question, ‘Do you want access to ePACK?’

To access ePACK you must be a member of the Alumni Association and you must be an alumnus/alumnae of NC State. If you are not a member of the Alumni Association, you can join online. Once you have received an email confirming your membership, you will be able to register for access to ePACK.
