Grants

Date: 10/01/22 - 9/30/23
Amount: $17,160.00
Funding Agencies: National Science Foundation (NSF)

This award supports planning for a large-grant project addressing the scalability issue among heterogeneous systems, specifically for big-data and deep-learning applications. This project supports an interdisciplinary planning process, with researchers from computer architecture, high-performance computing (HPC), security and privacy, systems, and algorithms.

Date: 02/10/23 - 7/31/23
Amount: $45,000.00
Funding Agencies: NHK International Corporation

This project aims at developing an intelligent bar hanger that intelligently leverages several cloud-point cameras as input and grabs the bar to hang it towards a targeted pin via a Robot Arm. Location identification at mm level, path planning with constraints, real-time control system module integration are the major efforts.
