Dr. Douglas Reeves Receives Professional Engineer of the Year Award

Congratulations to Dr. Douglas Reeves, who received the Professional Engineer of the Year Award as an "outstanding alumnus" of the Computer Engineering and Computer Science Department of the Speed Scientific School at the University of Louisville.

The award was presented on October 11, 2003, at the Speed School Awards and Reunion Ceremony on Saturday. Founded in 1924, the University of Louisville Speed Scientific School is the university's College of Engineering and Applied Sciences. Endowments from the James Breckenridge Speed Foundation, named after an influential Louisville industrialist (1844-1912), started and have continually supported the Speed School.
