Faculty Additions Announced

The NC State University Department of Computer Science is pleased to announce the addition of Dr. Sarah Heckman and Ms. Suzanne Balik to our faculty this fall.

Heckman (right) joins the department as the first Teaching Assistant Professor.  She is a three-time graduate of the Department of Computer Science at NC State.  Her focus is on undergraduate teaching and learning with research interests in educational technology and software engineering.  For more information on Dr. Heckman, click here.

Balik (left) joins the department as a Lecturer. She is especially interested in promoting and advancing universal software accessibility through her teaching, research, and interactions within the department and the wider community. For more information on Ms. Balik, click here.
