Miller, Heber to Speak at Life Sciences Symposium

Two professors in the College of Engineering will speak at the upcoming Symposium on Life Science Education in Research Triangle Park.

The symposium will focus on educational technology and resources for biology, biochemistry, bioinformatics, genetics and functional genomics. It will be held Tuesday, May 26, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the North Carolina Biotechnology Center.

The event will feature several speakers, including NC State’s Dr. Tom Miller, vice provost for distance education and learning technology applications, professor of electrical and computer engineering, and executive director of the NC State Entrepreneurship Initiative; and Dr. Steffen Heber, assistant professor of computer science.

The symposium is free, but pre-registration is requested through the symposium website.
