CSC Web Site Sporting a New Look
Many of the web sites within the NC State community are getting make-overs, including ours in computer science.
From the end users’ perspective, the changes to the computer science site may appear to be simply cosmetic in nature. However, behind-the-scenes, the changes are a bit more dramatic.
In order to comply with Web Accessibility regulations (also referred to as Section 508 guidelines – see link for more details), our web site is undergoing a content structural-layout change from HTML tables to Cascade Style Sheets (CSS), usage of NCSU's standard colors, implementation of Transitional XHTML 1.0, and better navigational practices for those with disabilities.
The update to the site is expected to be completed by the end of January.
