Redesigned 'Connected' Newsletter Published

A major redesign of the department's print newsletter, Connected, has just been completed, providing it a fresh new look and reader-friendly layout.

The print version has been distributed to over 5,000 alumni, faculty & staff, corporate partners, and other friends of the department. An online version is also available here.

This latest issue of Connected includes many of the top stories we have featured in our eNews over the last year, including:

  • NC State Celebrates Dedication of EBII
  • CSC Project Team Wins International Competition
  • Vouk Named Head of Computer Science
  • Four Department Icons to Retire
The newsletter also includes selected news from around campus and about our faculty, partnerships, and alumni.

Ken Tate, director of development and external relations, says the redesign of Connected is part of a comprehensive branding strategy for the department. “Whether we are communicating electronically or in print, we want our collateral to have a consistent and recognizable look, so that audiences think ‘NC State Computer Science’ even before they start reading the material.”  Tate adds, “We hope that everyone finds the redesigned Connected to be visually striking and something they will proudly share in their offices and homes for others to read.”

If you have a special news story for a future issue of Connected, please email Ken Tate or call him at 919-513-4292.
