Frank He Wins Spring 2005 Cisco Award

Congratulations to Qingfeng (Frank) He (CSC Ph.D. Candidate) for being awarded the Cisco Systems Information Assurance Scholarship for the Spring 2005 semester. CISCO awards eight $2,500 scholarships each year. Qingfeng is one of three graduate students in the country selected for the scholarship this semester. His application was selected based on the originality of the ideas posed in his essay along with his breadth of knowledge in the IA field.

Qingfeng is the third NCSU computer science student (and third member of http://www.theprivacyplace.org/) to be honored with this scholarship. NCSU recipients to date are,

  • Neha Jain (2003 Fall Semester Undergraduate Award)
  • Matthew Vail (2004 Fall Semester Undergraduate Award)
  • Qingffeng He (2005 Spring Semester Graduate Award)
