Fidelity Investments “Leadership in Technology” Speakers Announced for Fall 2017
The NC State Department of Computer Science is excited to invite you to attend our Fall 2017 Fidelity Investments “Leadership in Technology” Speaker Series.
The widely anticipated Fall 2017 speakers include:
September 26, 2017 (6:00 PM; EB2 1231)
John Pence, President & CEO, Sunrise Technologies
Topic: “ERP: The Backbone of Modern Business”
October 24, 2017 (6:00 PM; EB2 1231)
Mike Walsh, CEO, LexisNexis Legal & Professional
Topic: “Advancing the Rule of Law”
November 14, 2017 (6:00 PM; EB2 1231)
Robert Martin, Co-founder of CleanCoders.com
Topic: “The Last Programming Language”
All are invited to attend the much anticipated speaker series that exposes individuals to leadership possibilities in the technology field. The series was launched nearly 10 years ago as a part of the computer science department’s 40th Year Celebrations in 2007. The program, which has continued since its start in 2007, has only grown in popularity and continues to provide significant speakers in the field of technology.
The speakers will present their individual topics at 6:00 PM in EB2 1231. Each talk is free and open to the public with free parking after 5:00pm in the deck on Partners Way. All three talks vary greatly on subject matter and are all of the highest quality information. Because of this, the talks have become one of the premier speaker series on campus.
All three lectures have been approved by the CSC Graduate Oversight Committee to count toward the required lectures for graduate students.
