Leeman-Munk Receives SAS Summer Text Analytics Fellowship

Congratulations to Samuel Leeman-Munk, a PhD student in the NC State Computer Science Department, on receiving a SAS Summer Text Analytics Fellowship valued at approximately $16,600.
 
The awards runs from May 19, 2015 through August 2015.
 
Through the Fellowship, Leeman-Munk will conduct research and analysis for SAS in the areas of deep learning and text analytics.  His research is being conducted as part of the innovative SAS-NCSU Research Partnership.  His advisor at NC State is Dr. James Lester, Distinguished Professor of Computer Science, and his supervisor at SAS is Dr. Jim Cox, Director of Text Analytics R&D.
