CSC Year End Pig Pickin’ Planned for April 25th

***SPECIAL NOTICE - Because of the threat of rain and storms, this event will be held in Multipurpose Rooms A, B & C in the Hunt Library!***

Computer science students, faculty, staff, friends and families are invited to attend the 2014 ACM/AITP Computer Science Year-end Pig Pickin’ on Friday, April 25th from 4–6 p.m. at the Monteith Research Center (MRC).

The Pig Pickin’ is an annual tradition within the department, providing everyone a chance to unwind and celebrate the conclusion of another successful academic year.

All food, drinks, and fun are FREE and open to all computer science students, faculty, staff, family and friends!  There will be pork barbecue, fried chicken, and all the fixin’s provided by Cooper’s BBQ.  A vegetarian spread will also be provided by Neomonde.  Save room for dessert -- plenty of NC State’s premium Howling Cow ice cream!

Wonderful PRIZES will be raffled off!  Raffle tickets will cost $1 per ticket with proceeds going to support future ACM/AITP activities.

And if that weren’t enough…

Awards! The departmental awards YOU voted for will be presented to their deserving recipients!

Footballs and lots of other sports equipment will be available to help work off a full belly!

Many thanks to this year’s event sponsors: Boeing, Interactive Intelligence, LexisNexis, MetLife, Oracle, the ePartners Program and the NC State Engineering Foundation.

We hope you will join us for this annual tradition!
