Honeycutt Wins “Pride of the WolfPack” Award

Linda S. Honeycutt, Office Manager of the Computer Science Department, has been selected as one of the recipients of the "Pride of the WolfPack" Awards for March 2010.

The awards are designed to recognize NC State employees for a special or unique contribution to their college/unit or the University. Criteria for the award include: leadership on the job, customer focus, and quality of service.

Linda was recognized for her outstanding efforts and contributions as an integral part of the administration and effective running of the Computer Science Department.  She manages the office staff team, and serves as a liaison between faculty and staff, and between the department and HR.  Per her nomination:  “It is difficult to identify Ms Honeycutt's contributions in the abstract, but even a cursory comparison with computer science departments at other universities reveals how well Ms. Honeycutt has been administering the day-to-day business of our department.”

Several other College of Engineering staff members also were recognized:  Steve Callender, Burak Eryigit, Brian Herring, William Irvin, Jane Sharpe, Henry Taylor, and Carol Zummo.

Congratulations Linda, and thank you for all your hard work and dedication to the Computer Science Department, the College of Engineering and the University.
