Mark has worked exclusively in the Information Technology field for over 35 years. A senior executive in industries such as financial services, consulting and healthcare, with a diverse range of experiences including information risk, security and data governance efforts. Global responsibility and extensive management experience in such roles as Chief Information Risk Officer (CIRO) and Deputy Chief Information Security Officer (D-CISO). Maintains a deep breadth and depth of experiences to protect systems and data at all levels. Pro-actively engages the business to drive a security conscience culture. Has built strong teams, frameworks and strategies. Effective communicator at all levels, including Board, Firm clients and regulators. A trusted collaborator with senior business leaders, internal audit, legal, compliance, privacy and technology, managing expectations and working within the organization to meet business needs and deliver results.

Working with the Business and Corporate areas ensures clarity of the information security and data management requirements and effective strategies and solutions are available to minimize the associated risk to the Firm.

Areas of expertise and experience include: Chief Information Risk Officer, Chief Information Security Officer, Regulatory Relations and Response, Strategy and Frameworks, Cyber Security Engineering, Cyber Operations, Policy and Standards, Metrics and Analytics, Data Protection and Privacy, Data Management and Governance, Data Quality and Integrity, Information Lifecycle Management, Application Security.

Involved in industry specific organizations designed to share information, a member of various Advisory Boards at large university’s and a frequent speaker on security and data governance topics.

Mark has been a mentor to veterans trying to matriculate into the business world through the American Corporate Partners Veteran program

Mark is a graduate of Rutgers University with a degree in Computer Science. He is married and has two children.
