What I plan to do after graduation: I plan on pursuing a career in software engineering or cybersecurity.

Why I Love Computer Science: When I first arrived at NC State, I originally came to study mechanical engineering. However, as I started attending classes, I found myself struggling to fully enjoy the material. It wasn't until my second semester, when I was required to take a MATLAB course (CSC 113), that I discovered my true passion. Though I initially faced challenges with the course material, I found myself enjoying the process of coding, testing, and debugging until my programs functioned as intended. This process of learning to code was extremely rewarding to me. After that semester, I made the decision to switch my major to computer science, and I haven't looked back since!
