What I plan to do after graduation: After graduating I plan to work as a software engineer, focusing on full-stack work, hoping to combine back-end and front-end work.
Why I Love Computer Science: I originally came to NC State to study mechanical engineering, however, I took the required physics class and realized how much I did not enjoy physics. My older brother who studied computer engineering at NC State had pushed me to take a computer science class in high school, and I really enjoyed it. Since I was no longer going to study mechanical engineering, I had to find something else to study, and I remembered computer science. I took the Introduction to Java course here at NC State, and loved computer science even more. I found the subject super fun and engaging, and enjoyed doing the work significantly more than I had even enjoyed any other subject in school. I figured if I could have this much fun doing work for the rest of my life, why would I not choose to do that?
