VMware Academic Program (VMAP)
The Computer Science department has enrolled in the VMWare Global Education and Research Program, a program delivered by a partnership between VMWare and e-academy. This program allows CSC faculty and students download full-version VMware licenses, free of charge, as long as they are used for teaching or research.
These licenses are valid for one year from the date they are downloaded. Faculty will be eligible for renewals for the latest up to date releases after the 1st year where as students will have to purchase discounted software from VMware.
Available Software:
- For faculty: VSphere, vCenter Server, cVenter Lab Manager, Fusion, and Workstation
- For students: Fusion and Worksation
