Alumni & Friends Invited to "Meet the Dean"

The NC State College of Engineering cordially invites all alumni and friends to come out and meet the new dean of the college, Dr. Louis Martin-Vega, at one of the many “Meet the Dean” events which have been scheduled throughout North Carolina and across the nation this spring.

During these events, Martin-Vega will share his vision for the future of the college.

The “Meet the Dean” events started in Raleigh last November and will end in Raleigh this April.

The pilot event was held in November at the Dorothy and Roy Park Alumni Center on Centennial Campus.  SAB member and Nortel executive, Gayle Lanier, served as emcee for the event, and was joined by a number of co-hosts including fellow-SAB member and Cisco executive, Wayne Clark.

Since then, similar events have been held in Wilmington and Winston-Salem. Future events are scheduled for Washington, D.C. (February 8), Houston (February 22), Dallas (February 22), Charlotte (March 8), San Jose/San Francisco (March 14), Chicago (March 28), Greensboro (April 5), Atlanta (April 12), and Raleigh (April 24).
