On-campus Speaking Opportunities for ePartners Companies

With the start of the 2004-05 academic year, computer science student organizations are lining up speakers for their meetings. Presentations last from 30 to 45 minutes, covering technical and other topics relevant to computer science students. Presentations are typically followed by a question and answer session.

The student organizations have meetings scheduled throughout the year. The first meetings of the Association for Computing Machinery/Association for Information Technology Professionals are set for Sept. 1 and Oct. 13, 7 p.m. in Withers Hall on NC State's main campus. Meeting dates for other student organizations, including Women in Computer Science, Computer Science Graduate Student Association will be available later this fall. All computer science student organizations are listed online.

Computer Science's ePartners companies receive a complementary sponsorship as part of their recognition benefits. Non-ePartner companies are requested to make a $250 donation to help cover expenses.

ePartners and other corporate leaders interested in discussing possible speaking engagements are invited to contact Ken Tate, director of development and external relations for the computer science department, by email or phone at 919-513-4292.
