Welcome to CSC IT
The CSC Information Technology staff is responsible for providing computing support to CSC faculty and staff. CSC IT staff also works in collaboration with NC State University Office of Information Technology (OIT) and College of Engineering Information Technology and Engineering Computer Services (ITECS) to facilitate the use of campus information technology resources. If you need computing support but are not associated with the CSC department, please check with campus OIT or college ITECS services.
Support We Provide
A Wide Variety of services are available through the CSC IT staff. Some of these services include:
- Windows-Kit Active Directory installation and troubleshooting
- Web development consultation
- RedHat Linux, UNIX, Mac OS, and Windows setups
- Networking
- Printer setups
- Computer lab management
- Virtualization Support
- Individual consultation
- Hardware support
- Internet application software support (e.g. Thunderbird)

To request computing support or if you have any questions about the services that we provide, please either email us at help AT csc.ncsu.edu (replace AT with @) or use our online form.
For emergencies or critical requests include the word "urgent" in the subject line. You can also page one of the CSC IT staff but please remember that pagers are available during normal business hours (8 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday).
