Bio

Alan Watkins is an adjunct lecturer in the Department of Computer Science at NC State University, where he teaches discrete mathematics (CSC 226) and operating systems (CSC 246) through the Engineering Online program.

In addition to his role at NC State, Watkins is a software engineer at IBM, specializing in application development for IBM Security Key Lifecycle Manager. His industry experience includes positions at Toshiba Global Commerce Solutions and NetApp.

Watkins holds both a bachelor’s and a master’s degree in computer science from NC State.
