NCSU Libraries' "Fabulous Faculty" Series Presents Robert St. Amant

Start the semester off right by joining us for the latest installment of the NCSU Libraries Fabulous Faculty series, which highlights the innovative research and scholarship conducted by leading NC State faculty.

Please join us on Tuesday, January 22 at 3 p.m. in the Multipurpose Room on the Second Floor in the James B. Hunt Jr. Library where Dr. Robert St. Amant, associate professor of computer science at NC State, will discuss his new book, Computing for Ordinary Mortals.  In the book, St. Amant explains how the ideas behind technology can give us insight into our own daily activities, how we interact with other people and, in some cases, even what’s going on in our heads.

The event is free and open to the public.  Copies of Computing for Ordinary Mortals will be available on-site for sale and signing.  Information on directions and parking at Hunt Library can he found here:  http://www.lib.ncsu.edu/parking
