Added VisualAge for Java info.

The main things I care about are giving a graphical user interface and having the ability to write transactional programs.

If all goes well, I also expect to use IBM Websphere, an application server.

You can use a language other than Java if you like, but if we can use an application server, you must use an application server. The actual programming won't begin until report #3. Your programs must involve transactions - I will describe these in the context of JDBC close to when they are needed.
