Position Summary:
Student helper needed for up to 20 hours/week to manage a complex HPC environment. This position will help maintain a combination of Windows, Linux and Sun OS systems used in ongoing bioinformatic research. The student must have a familiarity with Citrix. Duties will include tasks such as firewall maintenance, SSL authentication and installation, back-ups and virtualization of current systems. Because this is a production environment, downtime needs to be minimized. Good judgment and communication skills are required. Hourly salary is commensurate with experience and University policy. Position is available immediately.
Requirements:
* Windows, Linux and Sun OS administration
* Firewall Maintenance
* Familiarity with Citrix

* VM-Ware
* Eligible for NCSU hourly employment
