Outreach Vision
Our vision for departmental outreach is one in which faculty, staff and students
- engage in research and educational collaborations that enable university initiatives;
- contribute to multidisciplinary centers, institutes and laboratories;
- transfer technology via collaborations with other academic, government and industrial institutions;
- contribute to the research community via activities including conference organizing committees, editorial boards, standards committees and national academies; and
- organize and participate in programs that inspire social understanding and interest in computing.
